The GenerLink MA23-N is a UL-listed, meter-mounted transfer switch that safely connects your portable generator to your home during a power outage. With a 30-amp rating, the MA23-N supports generators running up to 7,200 watts continuous — powering your entire breaker panel, not just 6-8 pre-wired circuits.

How It Works

The MA23-N installs directly behind your electric meter in a Form 2S meter socket. When your utility power goes out, simply connect your GenerLok power cable and start your generator. The MA23-N uses a Break-Before-Make transfer mechanism with a 2-3 second delay, ensuring your home is fully isolated from the utility grid before generator power engages — protecting both your equipment and utility lineworkers.

GenerLink vs. Traditional Transfer Switches

Unlike traditional transfer switches that limit you to 6-8 pre-wired circuits, the GenerLink MA23-N provides access to your entire breaker panel. You choose which circuits to power by simply flipping your breakers — including hard-wired appliances like sump pumps, well pumps, and HVAC systems that extension cords can never reach.

LED Status Indicators

• Green LED: Utility power present — normal operation
• Blue LED: Generator power active and properly connected
• Yellow LED: Electrical load exceeds 30 amps — reduce load by turning off breakers
• Red LED: Fault detected — contact support

Installation

The MA23-N must be installed by your utility company or a licensed electrician — an Approved Installer requirement that protects your 7-year warranty and ensures NEC 2020 compliance. Installation typically takes under 30 minutes. Utility approval is required before purchase in most service areas.
