Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your GenerLink purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before initiating a return.

30-Day Return Window

You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. Items must be in their original packaging and uninstalled condition. Installed units cannot be returned.

Non-Returnable Items

• Installed GenerLink transfer switches (once installed, the unit cannot be returned)
• Items damaged by misuse, modification, or improper installation
• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
• Special order items

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, contact us at support@buygenerlink.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number may be refused.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrived damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Warranty Claims

Warranty issues (defects after installation) are handled separately from our return policy. Please refer to your product warranty documentation or contact Global Power Products at 800-886-3837 for warranty service.
