The GenerLink MA24-N is the heavy-duty transfer switch for homeowners with larger generators. With a 40-amp rating, the MA24-N supports generators up to 9,600 watts continuous — giving you the power headroom to run demanding appliances like central air conditioning, electric water heaters, and well pumps simultaneously.
Who Needs the 40-Amp?
Choose the MA24-N if your generator runs 7,200 to 9,600 watts. If you plan to run your central HVAC (typically 3,500-5,000W), an electric water heater (4,500-5,500W), or multiple large appliances at once, the 40-amp rating gives you the headroom you need without tripping the unit.
Full Panel Access — No Circuit Limits
Like all GenerLink models, the MA24-N connects to your entire breaker panel — not a subpanel with 6-8 pre-selected circuits. You decide what runs during an outage simply by managing your breakers.
