How the MA24-S Works

Installed behind your electric meter in a Form 2S socket, the MA24-S uses a Break-Before-Make transfer mechanism with a 2-3 second delay. This ensures your home is fully isolated from the utility grid before generator power engages — preventing dangerous backfeed to utility lines and protecting your equipment from dual-source damage.

When you turn off your generator after an outage, you’ll hear a distinct clicking sound from the unit — confirming the automatic transfer back to utility power has completed successfully.
