Northeast Grid Solutions has been wiring backup power into Capital District homes for over twenty-five years. Founded in 1998 by master electrician Daniel Reyes, our team of eight licensed electricians and two apprentices specializes in residential GenerLink installations, whole-home transfer switch wiring, and 200-amp panel upgrades across Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties.

For scheduled GenerLink installs, expect a free site assessment within a week, a written estimate within 48 hours of the assessment, and a one-day install for most straightforward residential jobs. We pull every permit ourselves, coordinate the National Grid meter pull, and do not leave a job until the homeowner can demonstrate operating the GenerLink with a portable generator on their own driveway.
